The Day-Light model DL 930 is a specially designed 10,000 lux* bright light system, used by many people to help ease seasonal mood swings and regulate body rhythms. To receive the recommended light therapy dosage, users simply sit 12″ from the light for 20-30 minute intervals daily.
High-impact polycarbonate filters filter out 99.3 percent of UV light
The three light setting provides 10,000 lux at 12 inches. The two light setting option is convenient for ambient lighting, providing 7,000 lux at 12 inches.
Used with adjustable legs, the light source comes from above, mimicing outdoor light, and can be set at an optimal angle for light therapy.
The Day-Light is flicker free, unlike conventional fluorescent lights, and is manufactured with high efficiency, electronic ballasts that operate at 20,000 cycles per second.
The white diffusing lens eliminates glare. Three 36-watt light tubes emit a warm light and minimize blue rays.
